Kwa-Thema residents wake up to no electricity
Eskom's transmission failed to back up after load-shedding.
Kwa-Thema – Kwa-Thema has been without power since 02:00 on February 8.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni’s Twitter account, the cause of the outage is equipment failure on Eskom’s transmission after load-shedding.
Eskom is attending to the repairs. The estimated restoration time is midnight.
