Schools in Ward 79 benefitted.

“The councillor responded after liaising with the schools and we have now donated.”

Khangezile Primary School principal Dinko Special Seroka said, “We are grateful as the school especially since those who received the uniforms were learners in need.”

Eddie Mpanza, Ntokozweni principal, said: “We are truly grateful. The learners who were identified needed the school uniform as they didn’t have it at all.

“They would wear a uniform which is not ours just so that they can come to school. Now they can be like other learners and fit in.”

Langaville school principal Themba Mlangeni said, “The donation came as a blessing. The purpose of the school uniform is to get our learners to be the same, therefore, the learners who received the donation will see themselves as part of the others as they will now look the same and for that we are grateful.”

Mbonani said, “We spoke in December with Msomi and he made a commitment to assist with the donations as he is someone who is a giver at heart and is always willing to assist the community.

I then went to him earlier this year with the lists from the schools and we were able to donate.

“I am grateful to him and Mikawethu Trading Enterprise.”
