Local model represents Tsakani in the Miss Glam SA final competition

Chibisa is proud of herself and thankful to everyone.

Tsakani – The former first Miss Buhlebemfundo Secondary School queen competed in Miss Glam SA on December 10 and won two titles in the competition which took place in Randburg.

Chimwemwe Chibisa (20) represented the province in the competition and became the Miss Glam South Africa 2022 1st Princess while also bagging the Miss Popularity Glam SA 2022 title.

“It was a great journey and I learnt a lot during the journey. This pageant groomed me; it has allowed me to grow as a person.

“I now believe in myself no matter what and I’m definitely sure this is where I want to be and grow in this industry.

“I see myself exactly the way God sees me,” said Chibisa.

Chibisa said she visited two orphanages where she donated clothes and body sprays.

“I am happy that I brought smiles to those children’s faces,” she said.

Chibisa said she really appreciates everyone that supported her.

“All this was through commitment, faith, resilience and support. The sky is not the limit, only God is,” Chibisa said.

“Now I’ll be continuing with my charity work. I want to do more. I am willing to join organisations that focus on the community.

“I also want to encourage young people, with these titles, that anything is possible. If you have a dream no one is going to hand it over to you, you have to reach for that dream, and grab it tight for it to come true because tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it,” concluded Chibisa.
