Ekurhuleni residents seeking clinical care on festive season public holidays are encouraged to visit hospitals or primary healthcare facilities that operate 24 hours.

The metro’s primary health facilities will not be operational on the days listed below. This will also include facilities rendering Saturday extended clinic services:

– Day of Reconciliation, December 16
– Christmas Eve, December 24
– New Year’s Eve, December 31
– Day of Goodwill, December 26
– January 2, as the New Year’s Day holiday, falls on a Sunday

Health facilities that will remain operational throughout the festive season:
Sub-District: East
Saturday extended-hours services include Barcelona Clinic, Brakpan Clinic, Duduza Clinic, Emaphupheni Clinic, Geluksdal Clinic, and Springs Clinic.

Facilities with 24 hours services include Daveyton Main Community Day Centre, Kwa-Thema Community Health Centre, Nokuthela Ngwenya Community Health Centre, and Phillip Moyo Community Health Centre.
Hospitals: Far East Rand Hospital, Pholosong Hospital.

Sub-District: North
Saturday extended hours services Boksburg North Clinic, Kempton Park Civic Centre, Reiger Park Clinic, Itireleng Clinic, Tembisa Health Care Centre.

Facilities with 24 hours services Esangweni Community Health Centre.
Hospitals: Tembisa Hospital.

Sub-District: South
Saturday extended hours services Dawn Park Clinic, Dresser Clinic, Dukathole Clinic, Katlehong North Clinic, Vosloorus PolyClinic, and Wannenburg Clinic.

24 hours services Phola Park Community Health Centre, Jabulane Dumane Community Health Centre Jabulane Dumane Community Health Centre, Ramokonopi Community Health Centre.
