Langaville – Langaville Athletics Club is inviting community members to join them for a fun run and walk on Saturday.
The event will take place at Ext Seven sports ground, starting at 07:30.
Parents are urged to bring their children to the event.
Ward 79 sports committee member Saki Kgaphola said the initiative is meant to revive athletics and encourage young people to take up sports.
“It is important for the youth to participate in sports and engage in such activities. We are calling for the public to come out in numbers and support this movement. This is the first of many that we are planning to host,” he said.
