Tsakani SAPS station commander Colonel Khumbulani Mbatha applauded the event organisers for taking the lead in fighting crime in the area.

“We need the support of the community to be able to fight crime in the area, as the police we cannot win the fight against crime working as an island.

“Such events show that the police are committed to strengthening the partnership with different stakeholders and the community at large to fight crime,” he said.

Mbatha urged young people to share information and recruit their peers to become their positive initiatives before they are recruited by criminals.
