Police search for two gunmen

The gunmen allegedly fled the scene on foot after shooting at the victim.

DUDUZA – The Duduza SAPS are searching for two gunmen in connection with the shooting and wounding of a man in Masechaba recently.

The incident occurred on October 2 when the victim was sleeping at his house with his girlfriend and siblings.

The victim woke up from the sound of a door opening and saw two men pointing firearms at him.

The gunmen didn’t ask the victim questions before they started shooting at him, injuring him in the knee.

The gunmen fled the scene on foot.

SAPS members who were patrolling in the area assisted the victim, who proceeded to open a case of attempted murder.

Police are calling on anyone who might have information that could lead to the arrest of the two gunmen.
