Duduza author Zinhle Sibiya wins honoree award

The nineteen-year-old has won an international award for her motivational book, the Golden Life Principles.

Duduza – Author Zinhle Sibiya (19) has bagged two awards this year for her motivational book, Golden Life Principles, which was launched last year.
The motivational speaker was nominated under the best motivational book category at the Duduza Outstanding Literacy Awards, which took place on March 26.
On July 31, she received the second award from the 5th annual African Honoree Author’s Award for the best motivational category as well.
“It was an honour to be part of the pen warriors in Africa.
“This global award is my biggest achievement so far this year. To me, the award represents that dreams do come true irrespective of your background.
“If I can make it from Duduza to such a grand global stage, it means that I can go far with literature,” explained Sibiya.

Sibiya’s book focuses on encouraging people to live their lives to the fullest.
The book also touches on introspection.
She hopes for her achievements to serve as an inspiration for others to chase their dreams.
She said what matters in life is perseverance and dedication.
“I have achieved a lot at a young age.
“Honestly, I never thought I would be a global award-winning author one day, but it is blessings upon blessings.
“Setbacks are temporary defeats. We can bounce back from any situation, it is all in our mindset,” she explained.
She added her mother was her biggest supporter throughout her writing career and has always motivated her to follow her dreams.
