Wrapping up Women’s Month on a positive note

The NPO held a women empowerment event.

Kwa-Thema – The organisation, Buhlebenhlakanipho, hosted a seminar aimed at empowering girls and women last Thursday at 14 Maphanya Street.
Those who attended were taught about self-worth and dignity.
The entry to the event was a pack of sanitary towels that will be distributed to the organisation’s beneficiaries.
The founder of the organisation, Nellie Nhlapho, said the event made a positive impact.
“Due to the success of the event, we are considering hosting these meetings regularly.
“Those who are willing, can donate sanitary towels every month so that as an organisation we can extend our love to girls in need by providing them with sanitary packs.
“We also want our beneficiaries to know the word of God and the importance of knowing that there is a God in heaven,” said Nhlapho.
