Kwa-Thema – Kopano Disabled Movement and the Department of Public Service and Administration recently visited the family of a six-year-old disabled girl to donate nappies and groceries.
The centre’s general manager, Sthembiso Mndebele explained that each member of the movement contributed funds to buy goods to assist the family with the child’s needs.
They also committed to continued support of the family.

“Our movement caters for all the people living with disabilities regardless of their age.
“When we heard about the difficulties the mother is facing we immediately took action to see how we can help the family,” he explained.
Mndebele added that they want to make sure the family doesn’t feel like they are alone in raising the child.
“We are here to walk the journey with them.
“We don’t have much but we can help them wherever we can,” he added.
