KUSO honours late members

KUSO honoured the memories of its late members during a ceremony in Kwa-Thema.

Kwa-Thema – Kutlwano Social Organisation (KUSO) honoured 25 family members of its late members with certificates of appreciation on Sunday.

During the ceremony, a video with pictures of the late members engaging in different community projects was showcased.
KUSO’s chairman, Dali Mofokeng said they will forever cherish the fallen members for dedicating their time and resources to the development and advancement of the community.
“We salute them for the passion and dedication they displayed in serving humanity and raising high the flag of KUSO.
“They epitomised the values of Ubuntu and it is through their sacrifices and hard work that KUSO is where it is today,” he explained.

Reverend Duncan Nkosi was described as an important vehicle to transform society and help restore morality and dignity in the protection of women and girls in the community.
Family representative, Isaac ‘Gabzen’ Mohono, who spoke on behalf of the families, expressed admiration and gratitude to the organisation.
He encouraged the organisation to continue being the hope for the needy and poor in the community.
“I am encouraging men to join KUSO to play a role in development in their communities.
“KUSO is a vehicle of change and we all have to support and lend a hand to ensure its success,” he explained.
