Kwatsaduza – The MMC for Health Social Development Bokang Lethoko is urging expectant mothers not to delay their first visits to the clinic as soon as they become aware of their pregnancies.

She was speaking during her surprise visit to the antenatal clinic in Germiston Clinic.
As a new mother, the MMC said she has confidence in the services provided by the city’s clinics.
“Our clinic doors are open to everyone. I strongly encourage women to visit any of our clinics as soon as they suspect they are pregnant, especially within their first trimester, to ensure a healthy pregnancy.
“This will help in detecting abnormalities or health issues in the early stages of pregnancy,” she explained.
