Mbatha family left with nothing due to fire in Langaville

The family is pleading with the community to lend a helping hand.

Langaville – The Mbatha family is reeling after a fire claimed all their belongings on June 17.
Their shack burnt down that afternoon.
Shack owner Wandile Mbatha said during the incident she was at the Khaya Shopping Complex.
“I received calls that a fire had broken out. By the time I got home, everything had been destroyed. We lost everything. We are only left with the clothes we had on,” she said.

The family of five is residing with their landlord and is pleading for help from the community.
Ward 79 Clr Njabulo Mbonani on Saturday donated food parcels and blankets to the family.
