Duduza – Police are investigating a case of hijacking after a woman was hijacked outside her home in Masina Street recently.
It is alleged the victim had parked her vehicle outside her gate and stepped out of the car to open the gate when three armed men wearing balaclavas confronted her.
They instructed her to get in the back seat of her VW T-Cross and then drove away with her.

Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka said after allegedly driving for a while, they stopped and one of them covered her face with a jacket and forced her inside the car’s boot.
They then drove her to an unknown location and dropped her off.
Manaka added there is an alarming increase in hijackings in the area and motorists are urged to be vigilant and drive to the nearest police station if they feel unsafe.
