Club reopens after hiatus

Just like many others, the club Covid-19 regulations negatively affected.

Tsakani- The Short & Sweet Karate Institute SA has finally reopened after over two years of no action.
Just like many others, Covid-19 regulations negatively affected the club.
“We would like to invite all the children around Tsakani who would like to practise karate to join us on this beautiful journey,” said sensei Jackson Mabuza, the founder.
Mabuza’s teachings are based on his belief that karate is not just a sport but a way of life.

“Karate helps to ease the stress of being in school and the pressures associated with it.
“The hour of training relaxes the body and gets it ready for more engagement, such as homework and studying.
“And, of course, it makes your body and mind stronger.
“We always encourage our members, young and old, that education is the key to success,” he added.
According to Mabuza, the club practices traditional karate and is rooted in discipline.
“We are a recognised karate dojo. No manga-manga business,” he explained.
The club is based at Mpho Rahab Molepo Library in Extension 11.
Parents of children who are interested in joining the club can contact Mabuza on 083 368 7507 for more information.
