In loving memory

Aphane was dedicated to educating men about prostate cancer.

Deceased: Vusi Isaac “Ike” “Mabhunu” Aphane (73), born August 11, 1948, at Old Location “Ncakeni” Brakpan, died on February 2.
Education: Went to Mamelong Ncakeni High School and furthered his studies in KwaZulu-Natal, where he obtained his qualification as a health inspector.
Career: Aphane did his training at Wall’s ice-cream manufacturing company. He was then promoted to a supervisor position and then transferred to Lever Brothers Factory in Boksburg. He held different positions in the food department up to management level. He later joined the metro as a health inspector until he retired at the age of 65.

Community: He was actively involved in raising awareness about cancer within Kwatsaduza as a member of the CanSurvive Support Group. Aphane was dedicated to educating men about prostate cancer.
Family: He leaves behind his wife, brother, children, grandchildren and family.
Funeral: The service will be held at 1341 Maduna Street, Apostolic Faith Mission, Maxhoseni Section, Tsakani, on February 12 from 09:00 to 11:30. The cortège will then leave from there to Enokuthula Memorial Park Cemetery.
