Local businessman donates school uniforms

Kwatsaduza – Wearing full school uniform is not just about complying with the set school rules, it also brings about a sense of dignity to the learner wearing it.
Over 300 learners from disadvantaged backgrounds received school uniform donations from Zigzag Cafe last Wednesday.
The school uniform items to be donated included grey trousers, jerseys, socks and school shoes.

Thamsie Langa from Zigzag Cafe said the first leg of the school uniform drive kickstarted in Kwa-Thema, where over 50 school going children received brand new school uniforms in the first week of the 2022 schooling year.
“Last Wednesday, they visited various parts of the Ekurhuleni region, which included Thembimfundo Primary School in Vosloorus.
“The group then proceeded to Tsakani, where learners from Phumulani Primary School, Tsakani Primary School and Mamellong Comprehensive School and Lerutle Primary School from Daveyton received their donations,” she added.
