Tsakani – Grade One learners from Thuthukanisizwe and Funukukhanya primary schools shared their excitement of starting ‘big school’.

Okuhle Ngubeni (7) said he was happy to be at school.
Lwandle Ndlovu (5) said she would love to be a nurse.
Thobile Radebe (5) said being at school will help her to grow and be big.
Twins Mbuso and Nombuso Mpila (6) said they were looking forward to making new friends and learning new things.
Thando Mira (5) said he is looking forward to breaktime to share his lunch with his new mates.
Kagiso Mahlangu (7) is confident that being at school will help him at a later stage in his life.

Ayabonga Tshaqa (5) from Funukukhanya Primary School wants to become a doctor one day.
Minenhle Mlangeni (6) said she is already having lots of fun.
Mmeli Mambane (6) said school was fun.

Amahle Ncube (5) wants to learn how to draw and read.
