Kwa-Thema SAPS celebrates anniversary

The Kwa-Thema Police Station celebrated its fifth year anniversary on Saturday.

Kwa-Thema – The Kwa-Thema Police Station celebrated its fifth anniversary on Saturday.
The event, which was held at Mashila Park in Tornado, was attended by local ward councillor Thulani Simelane, station commander Col Mareketle Thobejane and the chairperson of the CPF, Oupa Mabiletsa.
Speaking at the event, Sector One manager Sgt Percy Mabanga said the journey hasn’t been an easy one.

“The support we have had and continue to receive from the community and our teams has been remarkable.
“More so in terms of ensuring we can carry out our mandate of being able to serve our community.
“We are looking forward to many more years of making a difference in the lives of those whom we serve,” he said.

Kwa-Thema SAPS celebrated five years of existence.

The event was filled with entertainment from local dance groups Bana ba Kopano Dancers, Spiyo Evolution Movers, The Truth and drummers 1575 Drums, along with poet Siphesihle Mazia.
Sector One chairperson Ellen Lekau said she was thankful to all those who made the event possible.
