Initiative to combat environmental issues started

The community can get involved through volunteering, donating refuse bags, gloves, beverages, food and transport.

Kwatsaduza – An initiative aiming to address environmental issues within Kwatsaduza is urging residents and local businesses to join in.
The BeBrave Keep Kasi Klean movement organised by Be Brave Lifestyle, in partnership with other local stakeholders, is inviting residents to help clean up the environment in Kwa-Thema on November 13.
The community can get involved through volunteering, donating refuse bags, gloves, beverages, food and transport.
Event coordinator Nkosinathi Zwane explained that land pollution can be detrimental to the health of citizens and that the issue remains unresolved in the township.

“It is important that we partner with businesses and that they also get involved, as it is also their responsibility to take care of the environment in which they operate.
“Also, this will show they care about their clients and customers and not just about the bottom line.
“The change we want to see in our communities starts with us as residents. We also believe this movement will motivate and educate people on the importance of keeping their environment clean,” said Zwane.
Those who would like to be part of the campaign or who would like to contribute may contact Zwane at info@bebravelifestyle.co.za or via WhatsApp on 067 783 7858.
