The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) has put measures in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 in cemeteries.
These measures include sanitising, maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.

Additionally, burials will take place seven days a week, including public holidays.
The maximum number of people allowed per funeral is 50 and the maximum number of burials per day per cemetery is 14.
