Duduza – Police are investigating a case of robbery after a resident of Bluegumview was robbed of R2 500 on Monday.
It is alleged that the 29-year-old victim was asleep with her two children when she heard a bang at the door.
She then saw a man armed with a gun inside the house.

Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka said the gunman instructed her to give him money.
“She then handed the amount of R2 500 she had in the house and he took her cellphone from the charger and fled on foot.
“The victim alleged that she knows the suspect by his nickname,” he said.
Police managed to trace and arrest a suspect who was detained at the police station.
