Ekurhuleni vaccine sites officially open

The roll-out of the second phase mainly targets elderly people who are 60 years and older and health professionals who could not be accommodated during the first phase of the roll-out.

Following the first phase of the Covid-19 vaccination programme, which ended last week, the City of Ekurhuleni officially opened its doors to the public for the roll-out out of the second phase from Monday.
Leading from the front in the second phase of the inoculation programme was Ekurhuleni city manager Dr Imogen Mashazi who became the first recipient of the Pfizer jab at the Kobie Muller Hall at the Bertha Gxowa Hospital in Germiston.
