Gogo Paulina, who turned 101 on April 23, recently celebrated the milestone birthday with her family and close friends.

Granddaughter Zanele Mahlangu expressed her gratitude for the life of her grandmother.

“The reason for the celebration is to show our grandmother that we appreciate her while she is still alive.

“She has been the backbone of our family for so long.

“We are truly blessed to still have her in our lives.

“For someone at her age, she is still in a good physical condition and is able to do everything for herself,” she said.
