Tsakani – Tsakani police are investigating a case of carjacking after a motorist reported he was robbed of his vehicle along Xhosa Street in Extension 19 last Wednesday evening.
The 55-year-old driver of a white Toyota 4Runner stopped near the Seven Days Tavern to drop off his girlfriend.

He then stepped out of the car to urinate when he was approached by three armed men.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said the victim was then instructed to get inside the car.
“They dropped him off in Mzumbe Section in Springs.
“They took his wallet with driver’s licence and bank cards, and his cellphone,” she said.
