Langaville resident robbed in home

Mngomezulu added police investigations are still underway and pleaded with the residents to assist in locating the perpetrators.

Tsakani –A Langaville resident was robbed at gunpoint in his home on Monday evening.
It is alleged the 29-year-old was awakened by a knock at the door.
He went on to ask who was there and a man answered ‘Tshepo’. He then asked Ntuli to come to the bedroom window.
The man then went to the window and pulled out a firearm while another man was breaking down the door and managed to gain entry.

Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said the intruder ordered him to lie on the floor.
“The two suspects, who were wearing balaclavas, managed to leave the house with a 49-inch black plasma TV worth R5 400.
“They fled in a silver-grey car. The suspects are unknown,” she said.
Mngomezulu added police investigations are still underway and pleaded with the residents to assist in locating the perpetrators.
