Local team shines at tournament
“We envied their well-maintained facilities, which we lack in our area.
Kwa-Thema – Kwa-Thema Sparks Tennis club participated in a tennis tournament hosted by Alberton Tennis Club on Saturday.
Coach Moses Ngwenya said teams represented the area with pride by scoring medals for their participation.
Sibusiso Mmusane, who played for the boys, advanced final managed to bag himself a silver medal.
Mmusane said this was great exposure for the team to compete against some of the best players in the province.

“We envied their well-maintained facilities, which we lack in our area.
“Unfortunately, we as a team will never be able to host a tournament because of our bad facilities,” he said.
Team coach Moses Ngwenya is happy with the team’s performance.
“The players are improving and are dedicated.
“This will pave the way for them to compete in national competitions,” he said.
