Ekurhuleni police carry out operation O Kae Molao

He encouraged officers to be true to the badge and strive to remove criminals off the streets.

Tsakani – Members of the Ekurhuleni SAPS, Gauteng Traffic Police and the Saturation Unit conducted a vehicle stop-and-search campaign as part of the O Kae Molao operation last Thursday.
The operation was led by district commissioner Gen Vincent Leshabane.
As part of the operation, roadblocks were conducted along with high-visibility policing.
Officers were also checking for compliance on second-hand goods, the Disaster Management Act, as well as liquor and drugs.
Leshabane encouraged members to search thoroughly for unlicensed firearms.
He encouraged officers to be true to the badge and strive to remove criminals from the streets.
A suspected stolen Toyota Quantum was found during the roadblock.
The VIN was found to have been tampered with.
