Community ensures children don’t go hungry

Duduza – NPO Virtue Corporate Group, in partnership with Rise Against Hunger, handed out nutritional breakfast packages on Wednesday in Bluegum View.
About 162 children benefited from the initiative.

“We started the feeding scheme to assist where we can. We are giving out food packages twice a week to members of the community, working with the Community Development Workers group, local NPOs and the community at large,” said Khumalo.
The feeding scheme takes place every Wednesday and Friday at 1229 Sikelela Street in Bluegum View, Extension Two.
