Kwa-Thema – A homeless man was shot and killed in front of Moonlight Hardware and Electrical opposite the Duduza Taxi Rank on Thursday evening.
Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Const Nkululeko Magudulela said the man was found covered in blankets with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
“The deceased is believed to be a homeless man who sleeps outside the hardware store every night.

“Another homeless person, who also sleeps outside the store, heard a gunshot but was too scared to look.
“After some time he got up to check and tried to wake the deceased but there was no response.
“He then went to the BP garage to seek assistance.
“The witness was interviewed and stated he only knows the deceased as Uncle,” Magudulela explained.
Magudulela added the victim is suspected to be a foreign national in is early 50s.
“A case of murder has been opened for investigation at Kwa-Thema SAPS.”
