Kwaito star partners up with various organisations to give back

He kicked off the campaign in Geluksdal on Tuesday, before heading to Kristo Nkosi Church.

Kwa-Thema – Kwaito star Makhosini Xaba, known as Joe Nina, has embarked on an initiative to donate 100 food parcels to the community of Kwatsaduza.
He kicked off the campaign in Geluksdal on Tuesday, before heading to Kristo Nkosi Church.
While he is no stranger to giving back to the community, for this initiative the artist partnered with various organisations, including two marimba music teachers from the church, Lerato Mohlokoana and Luyanda Ntombela.

“From the previous food donation initiatives we have had, this one has to be the biggest one.
“I would like to thank BRM, Angel Network, Mshengu and Itumeleng Sekhu for making today possible because without their assistance we wouldn’t have been able to reach so many people,” he said.
Pensioner Agnes Mtsweni (65) expressed gratitude for the donation.
“I am extremely delighted. As a pensioner living with my grandchildren, the food will definitely make a difference.
“This Christmas will be so special, may they continue to help others who are also in need,” she stated.

Nina will be collaborating with the marimba class at the church for a new project.
The marimba musical classes takes place every Friday at 3pm, Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 11am.
