“We are calling for inclusivity of persons with disabilities.

“As it is companies are failing to meet the two per cent requirement as outlined by the department,” said Letsapa.
A call for the disabled community to be active citizens and participants was made.
“It is important for us to be willing to participate as it is the only way to we can be heard.
“No one will speak for us if we do not.
“Our goal is to establish a partnership with the Department of Labour to ensure our needs are met,” said chairperson of Kopano Disability Movement Sthembiso Mndebele.

Molele pledged to help with putting together CVs and career advice.
“Over the past years, careers have expanded which give people options from which to choose.
“Another important thing is to have a CV without errors, which is part of my expertise and I am willing to offer advice and tips for the dos and don’ts when creating a CV,” she said.
According to the forum, companies hire people with disability for points.
Apparently, most of these companies lack accommodating structures and easy access for those who are disabled.
