“Winning this pageant would mean everything to me. I have consistently remained in my little shell because of how society derides young women like me because of our physiques.
“I therefore decided to challenge myself and utilise my voice to inspire those who are currently in the same position I was in,” said Masuku.
She said her goal is to leave an imprint in this world.
“I will utilise the title to inspire and propel young ladies who feel that they are not good enough, pretty enough and are mostly suppressed, discriminated against and undermined by society.
“Women who feel insecure about their body types or even themselves, to escape their shells and begin pursuing their dreams, regardless of what others say about them. “I want to help transform their flaws into flawsome,” she said.
