Tsakani – Tsakani police have requested the community’s assistance in solving the following cases: • Culpable homicide Police are looking for David Mashinye for questioning in connection with a hit-and-run incident in which six-year-old Ntokozo Sehloho was killed. The incident took place on October 27, 2019 in Extension One, Langaville. It is alleged there was a fight on the day between the deceased’s uncle and Mashinye, who then called someone to fetch him. He was picked up by the driver of a white Toyota Quantum, who struck the little girl with the vehicle as they drove away. The registration of the Quantum is unknown. The child was rushed to hospital and declared dead on arrival.

• Murder Tsakani police were alerted to the unnatural death of Paul Jiyane in Ext Six, Langaville, on April 12, 2019. The investigation revealed the deceased had neck and head injuries which are suspected to be the cause of death. • Murder Tsakani police were called to the Pholosong Hospital on July 28, 2019 after the unnatural death of Hlamlane Phillip of Ext Eight, Tsakani. The victim, who had been severely assaulted, died on arrival at the hospital. Hospital personnel told police the deceased was brought to the hospital by an unknown person who claimed to be his friend.
