A taxi owner was fatally shot in his Kwa-Thema home last Wednesday.
According to Sgt Nelisiwe Dwaba, from SAPS Corporate Communication in Ekurhuleni East Zone 3, the incident took place at Masole Street.
Police responded to reports of a shooting and upon arrival, found the body of a man lying in a pool of blood.

According to a witness, the man was home with his girlfriend when they heard a knock at the door.
Upon opening the door, he was shot.
The deceased operated long distance taxis between Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.

There are no suspects arrested and the motive is unknown.
