Teachers to enjoy new desks

Brima Logistics lends a hand to the teachers of Tlakula

Kwa-Thema – Brima Logistics donated 18 teachers’ desks to Tlakula Secondary School on Wednesday.

Marketing executive from Brima Logistics Khanyisile Zulu said the desks were part of the furniture which remained when they moved offices.

“We figured instead of storing the desks as they are still in a good condition we should rather give it to people who need them and who can make good use of them, and Tlakula Secondary turned out to be a perfect fit,” says Zulu.

“We are very grateful.

“They could not have come at a greater time, as a school we welcome anything that will ensure that teaching and learning is effective.

“Especially in a time such as now where we are battling with stress and anxiety due to the uncertainty of our future with the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Such acts restore hope for us,” explained Thembekwayo.

She added that the new desks will make teaching better.
