Founder Tsepiso Sibisi says: “We are extremely happy with the turnout, with this being our first soup drive.

“The support from our very own community has been amazing, even though at first some people thought we were selling.

“I think going forward more and more people will come out in numbers since people are now aware and loved our initiative.

Mwari Pizza House fed those in need.

“One of the donors, Dave Lekgwathi, donated potatoes, oranges and eggs for the initiative.

“For me, being part of this initiative was very important because this is me playing my activist part.

“I have worked with this organisation for some time now and I know they are very hard working and committed to whatever they do, which is why it wasn’t difficult for me to make the decision to join them.”

Potential sponsors who would like to contribute to the soup drive can visit Mwari Pizza House at 48 Ramothibe Street.
