Qedusizi Primary School parents urged to attend meeting

Acting principal of Qedusizi Primary School George Ngoma is encouraging parents to attend the following parents meeting, in preparation of the welcoming Grade R, One, Three and Six learners back to the classroom. The meeting for Grade R will start at 10am on Thursday at the school assembly, while a meeting for Grade Ones will start at 11.30am and at 1pm for Grade Two learners.On Friday, the parents of Grade Three learners will meet with the school governing body at 10am and Grade Six learners at 12.15pm. ?The meeting is to inform parents about all the rules and regulations. We cannot be ignorant and assume that parents know everything.?It is important for parents to attend this meeting as they will be given information on what is required per child upon return to school.?We are also going to be informing them on the protocol and what we have done so far to ensure our school is in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Covid-19. ?Parents will be orientated, the meeting will also give them an opportunity to ask questions,? explains Ngoma. Learners will undergo training to adapt to the new school rules upon return.?Learners will be orientated as well as to how they should behave when at school during Covid-19.?How they should use the protective measures in place.?In the meeting we also want to assure parents that the school is safe, has been disinfected and fumigated. The classrooms are cleaned on a daily basis,? he adds. The school will provide cloth masks to all the learners who do not have masks.
