The body of a middle aged man was found in the yard of an abandoned house in Daggafontein on Saturday at around 4pm.
This after residents noticed a foul smell coming from an abandoned house as they were passing by.
Upon investigation, the residents found the decomposing corpse, and called the police.

According to Capt Johannes Ramphora of the Springs police, the man was wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt and had no shoes on.
The SAPS is waiting for the results of a postmortem to determine the cause of death.
