Ethandweni Pharmacy, Skulu’s Kitchen and Men United Social Club deliver food parcels to homes in need

Ethandweni Pharmacy collaborated with local organisations, Skhulu’s Kitchen and the Men United Social Club, for their community initiative drive.

KwaThema – Ethandweni Pharmacy collaborated with local organisations, Skhulu’s Kitchen and the Men United Social Club, for their community initiative drive.

The organisations made food donations and spent some time, on Friday, with five local homes within KwaThema.

Kopano Disabled Centre, Sibusiso’s Children Hope, Tholakele Centre of Hope, Bathandeni Special Needs Care Centre and The Lord Is My Provider Home, all received food parcels parcels based on their needs.

Men United Social Club chairperson Masotja Skosana says: “We received a list of things each home needed.

“That’s how we were able to plan and decided what we are buying for each organisation.

“We feel we must take social responsibility by giving back, and engaging with the community at large.”

Ethandweni Pharmacy director Solly Malohle says: “We believe in taking care of the community we serve, and we have been doing it for years now.

“We saw it fitting to bring other people on board because we share the same objectives, and we know we can do more when we work together.

Deputy chairperson of Kopano Disabled Centre Polina Twala expressed her gratitude.

“We are truly thankful and happy; we hope this act of kindness touches others as well, and may they be reminded that a giving hand is more blessed than a receiving hand,” says Twala.
