Tsakane – A 29-year-old woman died after she was knocked down by an car on the corner of Tsakane Road and Puseletso Street on Saturday evening.
It is alleged by witnesses that the driver was driving at a very high speed.
Tsakane police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mongomezulu says it is alleged the victim was crossing the road when she was knocked down.
“The driver failed to stop after the accident.

“At this point, we don’t know which car it was.
“The victim was immediately taken to hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries,” he explains.
Tsakane police are calling upon any person who might assist with information to come forward.
