Murder accused Xaba, who was the deceased’s lover at the time of her death, pleaded not guilty of the crime in February.

Simelane was found murdered in May 2018 behind the rental rooms at 9 Mokhitli Street in Phomolo Section.

It is alleged the deceased went clubbing at Themba Tavern in the area with Xaba on that night in May.

That was the last time her family saw or heard from her.

After over a year of investigating, the accused was summoned to court in November 2019.

“All I want is justice for my daughter.

“I am tired of coming to the court only to be told the case will be postponed to a later date,” she says.
