Matiwane’s murder case postponed to Tuesday

The mother of four had previously confessed to the police to have hired a hitman to kill her husband in exchange for R80 000, which she would have paid him from the insurance policy.

KwaThema – The case against murder accused Nonhlahla Matiwane (41) of KwaThema was postponed to March 10 when she appeared in the Springs Magistrate’s Court on Friday.

This is to make way for finalisation of the consultation between the accused and her legal team before the trial commences on Tuesday.

In her last court appearance, Matiwane changed her plea from guilty to not guilty for the murder of her late husband, Sibusiso Mthombeni (42).
