Suspects rob doctor’s room on Seventh Street

Before fleeing, the suspects locked the complainant and the doctor in the dispensary room.

A doctor’s room on Seventh Street was robbed by two suspects pretending to be patients last Monday afternoon, says Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.

The complainant says she was at her desk when she saw woman walk in, followed by two men pretending to be patients.

The one male suspect instructed the patients to move, while the other male suspect forced the complainant move out of the reception, telling her it was a robbery.

The suspects then forced the complainant to go dispensary, where a doctor was waiting for a patient.

In addition to the three cellphones that were stolen the suspects also stole R2 000.

The victims were eventually rescued by a patient who walked in after the suspects had fled.
