Entrepreneurs invited to workshop

The first workshop for 2020 will run from 9am to 1pm on February 14 and is aimed at anyone who has a thriving small business, has just started one or who would like to start a business and needs some guidance.

The African Reporter will once again partner with the Business Linkage Centre (BLC) to provide training for entrepreneurs in Kwatsaduza and Springs.

The first workshop for 2020 will run from 9am to 1pm on February 14 and is aimed at anyone who has a thriving small business, has just started one or who would like to start a business and needs some guidance.

The aim is to help small businesses in our community become more successful which in turn will help grow the economy.

The hope is that this training will also arm entrepreneurs with skills which will allow them to grow their businesses, creating employment opportunities within the community which will help address the current unemployment crisis.

Fred Jones, BLC manager, will present training modules on management principals and managing your business finances.

This is the first of at least three sessions in a series which will cover different business skills in each session.

The workshop will be held in the boardroom at the Eastern Gauteng Chamber of Commerce and Industry, located at Levsure House, 21 8th Street, Springs CBD.

Space is limited to 30 people on a first come first served basis.

There is an R80 charge which should be paid when making your booking with Christina Radebe at the African Reporter offices at 48 5th Avenue, Springs CBD.

Booking and payment must be made by February 12.
