KwaThema – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 38-year-old man at a tavern, in Extension Three on Saturday.
KwaThema police spokesperson Const Media Khoza says preliminary investigations reveal that the deceased sustained injuries from being stabbed in his chest and was declared dead by paramedics on the scene.

“It is believed the deceased was involved in an argument with one of the males inside the tavern. A fight broke out and he was stabbed.
“We are investigating a case of murder and call on any person who may have information that could lead to the arrest of the person(s) involved in the murder to contact KwaThema SAPS on 011 812 4600 or the police crime stop number on 08600 10 111,” she adds.
