KwaThema – Local teams participated in the KwaThema Local Football Association (KLFA) league games at the KwaThema Sports Complex on Saturday.

Despite the scorching weather conditions, supporters came out in numbers to support local talent.

Real Barcelona u-13 played to a draw against Tornado Lions, 2-2.

Junior Spinners u-15 win 5-0 against Real Barcelona.

Both teams displayed great sportsmanship and managed to keep supporters entertained and on their toes throughout the game.

The u-15 Junior Spinners punished Real Barcelona 5-0.

Real Barcelona has been facing challenges with their players not showing up for games.

Real Barcelona coach Phindile Lekubu says: “I am happy with the u-13 games and how we played.

“Unfortunately some of our u-15 players were absent and I had to use four of my u-11s to complete the formation so we could play.”
