KwaThema – Ward 79 Health and Social Development is inviting the public to a breast cancer awareness walk on October 24.
The walk will start at Duduza Rank, Corner Majola and KwaThema Road, to the KwaThema Community Hall, from 8am.

Organiser Mandla Gininda says: “Breast Health Awareness Walk will be one of the Ekurhuleni grassroots mobilisation campaigns for breast cancer awareness.
“On this day, we will be creating much-needed awareness to educate and empower those who are diagnosed with cancer and ensure that we save lives through education, awareness and screening,” says Gininda.
On the day, a plaque will be unveiled at the KwaThema Hall.

A candle-lighting ceremony for those who have lost the battle to cancer will take place at 10am.
