Pizza parlour owner hijacked in Dersley

The customer tried to help the victim, but one suspect shot at him through the window and drove off.

A pizza parlour owner was hijacked on Saturday evening while making a delivery in Dersley, says Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.

The victim had just stopped in front of the gate where he was making a delivery, and the customer was walking towards him, when suddenly two suspects pointed their firearms at him.

The suspects pushed the victim back into the vehicle.

The customer tried to help the victim, but one suspect shot at him through the window and drove off.

Suspects drove and stopped somewhere in Brakpan, and the victim was tied up with shoelaces. The suspects drove off in his car.

After the victim freed himself, he ran to look for help.
