The event consists of young individuals from different churches within Kwatsaduza who are passionate about music and love to serve God.

They have extended an invitation to the public who have an interest in music, especially gospel rap music.

Those who are interested and would like to take part should be over 18 years old and post matric.

Event organiser Neo Rebel (21) says the idea came from attending Man Feezer’s extended-play launch last year.

“We do not want this to be a once-off event, because this is a movement and we are working with the likes of Just Thabo, who is like our visionary, Man Feezer and Crystal Clear.

We wanted to get Christian rap out there as well. As Christians, we are doing this for God,” explains Rebel.

They aim to encourage creative arts in young churchgoers, to bring fun into the church and to establish friendships with people from different churches.

Registration and entrance for the event are free. Those who are interested can contact Neo Rebel or Just Thabo on 067 177 7052 or 060 363 6563.

The event will take place from 1pm to 5pm.
